San Mig Light and Red Horse Extra Strong Beers Win at 2016 Australian International Beer Awards

San Miguel Brewery Hong Kong’s San Mig Light and San Miguel Brewery Thailand’s Red Horse Extra Strong Beer garnered Bronze Medal Quality Awards at the Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA) presented at Peninsula in Melbourne last May 19, 2016.

The distinctive taste, aroma and appearance of San Mig Light and Red Horse beers caught the attention of 63 Australian and international judges and stood out among 1,790 entries from 326 breweries across 36 countries. The AIBA’s seal of excellence is a manifestation of San Miguel’s commitment to produce high-quality products, aligned with international industry standards.

Conducted by the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), the Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA) is the largest annual competition judging both draught and packaged beers based on appearance, aroma, style, technical quality and flavor. Renowned for showcasing the highest quality beer and for celebrating brewing excellence in Australia and around the world, AIBA is open for entry to breweries of all sizes, from small and medium volume to large scale commercial production..
